The Robert Trent Jones Legacy

«  I had to somehow get involved with golf in some big way »
«  Quelque part je me devais de m’engager avec le golf d’une façon majeure »

In the late 1980s, following a decade of international architectural success, Robert Trent Jones Sr. took a bold and perilous path — one of those challenges that would help build his legend: to create, on an 800-hectare stretch of Provençal land, the most beautiful golf course in the world. Not just a course that would showcase all his vast experience, but one for which he would risk the fortune he had earned since his humble beginnings during the Great Depression.

Mr. Jones’s vision went far beyond designing a course of exceptional beauty — particularly in the sculpting of each green. It also included a private club that would redefine the standards of excellence.

Today, our daily commitment to protecting our members’ privacy and our unwavering dedication to bringing his vision of excellence to life are the true legacy of Mr. Jones.
