Vidauban is a private club reserved for its members, located in the heart of the "Plaine des Maures", a national nature park of exceptional beauty.
At the height of his international career, on an 800-hectare estate that served as his canvas, legendary American architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. created his finest masterpiece. For the only time in his illustrious professional journey, he did not shape a course solely as an architect of unparalleled talent, but also as its owner. His determination to fulfill his dream among the umbrella pines, cork oaks, and wild lavender drove him for over 25 years.
Today, Vidauban welcomes members who are passionate about the game of golf, united by a vision of excellence, and uplifted by the sanctuary it offers to their families, friends, and guests.
Sun-drenched and steeped in Provençal charm, the course offers a unique golfing experience where nature and design come together in perfect harmony — from lichen-covered stone outcrops and seasonal ponds to iconic umbrella pines and majestic oaks.
Crafted by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Jr., each hole is a masterpiece — strategically challenging, visually stunning. With multiple tee positions and endless shot-making possibilities, the course brings his signature philosophy to life: a difficult par.
In recent years, in close collaboration with the Robert Trent Jones II architectural firm, the club has made significant investments in upgrading the course. Today, it proudly stands among the finest golf courses in continental Europe.
